My name is Jackson, and I'm a newly-graduated high school student who is passionate about science, fabrication and crystals.
Ever since I was a toddler, I have been fascinated by crystals and minerals, their energies, and unique formations.
In early 2021, I began exploring the process of "growing" bismuth crystals and the creative floodgates opened - I have been actively experimenting, ever since! I love thinking "outside the box" especially, when it comes to discovering unique ways to create and artistically-present bismuth.
I am a graduate of the Meeting Street School (Providence, RI) and I currently attend The Met School (Providence, RI).
As an intern at FabNewport/PVD Young Makers, I have honed my crafting skills by using various 3D-rendering software programs which, in turn, further expanded my creative outlets to 3D printers and CNC laser cutters.
To date, I have been fortunate to sell my bismuth crystals and "splashes" at some of the largest mineral and gem shows in the country, including the East Coast Gem & Mineral Show (MA), the Franklin Gem & Mineral Show (NC), and the world-renowned Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (AZ).
Element 83 is my first official small hobby business and I greatly appreciate your support!
There are so many cool ways to create with this metal!
